We are a collective of passionate learners and inspired community builders. We built CommuniTeach in January of 2010 because we felt that everyone had something to teach that others would want to learn. Currently our members are mostly in Chicago and Pittsburgh, and are looking to expand in these cities and bring CommuniTeach to others. Want to join the cause? Sarah's passion for igniting social change began in college where she studied social entrepreneurship at UNC and led an 80 person tutoring organization. After college, she developed her finance and strategy skills as a management consultant at Bain & Company in Chicago. Sarah then worked as the Program Manager for i.c.stars, an organization that trains low-income, resilient adults in technology and leadership and staffs them on technology projects. She is currently an MBA Candidate at the University of Chicago.

Ben Paul | Co-founder

Ben is an experienced web developer who also has expertise in quantitative research, having earned a graduate degree in Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh. He built the CommuniTeach website from scratch while in graduate school, and now takes an active role in business and marketing to ensure its success. He prides himself on his ability to get a meeting with absolutely anyone.
